Other Documents
Throughout college, I have written a variety of essays and reports that I feel demonstrate my writing abilities. These documents show my skills in research, analysis, and composition.
White Paper
In my ENG 321: Beginning Technical Writing course at Missouri State University, I learned how to create white papers. For this project, I created an informative white paper about the Executive Council of Gamma Alpha Lambda. This document can be given to members who are interested in joining the Executive Council so that they can learn about the basic requirements of each position. I created this document using Microsoft Word 2010. The project shows my design abilities and my ability to use tables effectively.

Persuasive Essay
One of my assignments for ENG 110: Writing I at Missouri State University was to research a topic extensively and write a persuasive essay using these sources. The topic I chose for the assignment was that Christians should focus their lives first on loving God and second on loving others. Sources I used included various Bible passages as well as a variety of books about the topic. This project, which was written in Microsoft Word 2010, demonstrates my ability to research and compose an effective argument using those sources.

Promotional Flyer
I have been working on designs for Gamma Alpha Lambda flyers to hand out at the beginning of the rush process. This is the design that I have created for Fall 2012 rush. The flyer includes the name of the organization and incoming rush class (Tau), times for the informational meetings, and the GAL email address for students who would like more information. I created this document using Microsoft Publisher 2007.
